A very warm welcome to St. Leonard's Church

Welcome to St Leonard’s

St Leonard’s is the historic parish church of Heston, and we are a growing and friendly parish in the heart of the local community. We hope that you will come and join us at one of our services or community events. Whether you are visiting the area or looking for a church community to worship in. We assure you of a warm welcome as we come together to glorify God and share in fellowship.

If you haven’t been before, the best way to get to know us is to come to a service on a Sunday. We are in the lively modern Catholic tradition of the Church of England. Details of services and other events and activities can be found here.

If you are looking to get married at our Church or wanting to book a baptism (Christening), or perhaps you might be considering a church funeral, or one led by a priest, hopefully, this website will signpost you to all you need. If you still have questions, please do give our friendly team a call in the parish office during weekday office hours – they would be delighted to help you.

Our hope is that visitors to both website and church will glimpse the transforming love of Jesus Christ, and the joy of knowing him. Why not consider joining us?  You will receive a warm welcome whatever your age, whatever your background or beliefs: whether you are one of St. Leonard’s regulars; a visitor from another parish or church tradition; a newcomer to church or the idea of church; an enquirer; a doubter; a struggle with life’s complexities; someone who is thinking about coming back to church after a while; or just someone who wants simply to come and sit quietly at the back.

Just come as you are and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee with us after the service.

We trust, above all, that the impression you will get from St Leonard’s, is of a place and a people of faith, of peace, of prayer; of hope and of love.
